Privacy Policy

Effective June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PurelySearch LLC ("Pickrate," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use pickrate.io and our services (the "Service"). For a plain-language overview of our data practices and the full list of providers we use, see our Trust & Security page.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by PurelySearch LLC, a limited liability company organized in Delaware, United States. For privacy questions, contact privacy@pickrate.io.

2. Data we collect

3. How we use data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your Service content to train machine-learning models.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), consent (where required, such as certain analytics), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share data

We share personal data only with sub-processors that help us operate the Service, each for a defined purpose. The current list — including what each one handles and where — is on our Trust & Security page. We may also disclose data to comply with law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), in which case we will notify you.

Service content you submit may be sent to our AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) to run your evaluations. Data sent through their APIs is not used to train their models, per each provider's API terms.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. You can request deletion at any time (see Your rights).

7. Security

We encrypt data in transit (TLS) and at rest, use managed authentication with hashed credentials, and apply least-privilege access to systems and secrets. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to address issues promptly. Report security concerns to security@pickrate.io.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email privacy@pickrate.io. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete; we do not sell personal information.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers primarily process data in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your data may be transferred to and processed there.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
