About Pickrate
Pickrate is analytics for the agent channel. It shows which AI agents read your site, what they pulled, whether they chose you over a competitor, and which of those reads turned into signups and revenue.
Why it exists
Every analytics tool you already run is a browser tag. It fires when a page executes JavaScript. AI agents don't execute JavaScript — they fetch, read, and leave. So an entire channel of traffic passes through your site and lands in none of your dashboards. You can see the consequences of it (signups from people who say "ChatGPT recommended you") without ever seeing the cause.
That gap is the whole reason for this product. The only place agent traffic is visible is server-side: in middleware, at the edge, or in raw logs. Pickrate reads it from there and turns it into the thing you actually want to know — not just "a bot visited", but which agent, reading what, on behalf of a user who did or didn't come back and convert.
What we measure
- Discovery. Which agents crawl and read you, which pages they pull, and which machine-readable surfaces they ask for and don't find.
- Selection. Your Pick Rate: how often an agent picks your tool over its competitors when a user describes a problem without naming any vendor. Measured on unbranded prompts, because a branded prompt tests whether you can be found, not whether you get chosen.
- Outcome. Which agent reads connect to signups and revenue, and at what confidence — including the reads that happened days before the human ever showed up.
How we work
The measurement is public and the method is written down. Every Pick Rate on this site comes from trials you can inspect: the prompts are unbranded, the judge model is named, the trial counts and dates ship with every score, and the scoring window is documented on the methodology page. When a number moves, you should be able to find out why without asking us.
Pickrate is also built to be used by agents, not just to measure them. The same data behind the dashboard is available over an HTTP API, an MCP server, and clean markdown at every URL. If an agent wants to read this company, it can — see /for-agents.
Who we are
Pickrate is operated by PurelySearch LLC, a company registered in Delaware, United States. It is independently owned and funded — no outside investors, no board steering what gets measured. That matters for a product that publishes rankings: nobody can buy a position on a leaderboard here, and no vendor pays to be included or excluded.
